I have not tried Majestic for Malbec but most of the supermarkets make a good stab at cheap Malbec. <a href="http://www.alastairbathgate.com/2007/03/06/opposite-ends-of-the-malbec-value-spectrum/" rel="nofollow">Asda</a> was great, Sainsbury do a good <a href="http://www.alastairbathgate.com/2007/04/09/soooo-organic-so-which-malbec/" rel="nofollow">organic one</a>, and Tesco also have a nice effort sourced from Balbo, but named <a href="http://www.alastairbathgate.com/2007/05/03/balbo-baggins-goes-to-egypt/" rel="nofollow">Anubis</a>. I've been looking for a new red since Rioja's in general started thinning out in terms of body and complexity. Am I likely to be able to find it anywhere other than The Wine Society?
